the weekend of dreams

this weekend was one of the most eventful in a while.
what i did
dinner to celebrate my grandparents 60th anniversary at maddox. this was one of my favorite things i've done in a while. what great examples of love they are!
the maddox lodge is BEAUTIFUL. i want my wedding luncheon/dinner whaterr there.

afer maddox me & my amigos went sledding on old main. this. was. AWESOME. there was a mattress there that we took off of this jump a few times. my life may or may not have flashed before my eyes. i loved it.
it's hard to tell, but that is andrew going off the jump. that blur? ya that's him in the air.
this is andrew's bro josh in the air as well. with the pics would have turned out better. note to self: bring a real camera next time.
well after sledding, & an awkward village inn adventure (at 2 AM) it was time to camp out starting at 3 AM to help earn me a spot at the apartment complex i'm wanting to live at for summer & fall. i was out there from 3-5:00 ish, took a 35 minute break where i warmed my feet in the bath tub, while lighting a bag of popcorn on fire in the microwave, NBD...i returned around 5:35 am, leaving a disgusting smelling apartment, but having warm feet. sat in the frigid cold until 7 ish, & GUESS WHAT. it was all worth it! got into the apartments, for both summer & fall. boo ya grandma.
i encountered some strange {perhaps frostbite esque?} skin issues on my feet though.
after this lovely event, at approximately 7: 45 am, me & shmeagle made our way down to good ol' L-town. i headed down for my dear sister's baby shower. where i got to eat good food, play with lots of little adorable babies, and mingle with my family members & some friends
somewhere within the day, i went to the doc because my eye has been bothering me for the past couple days. turns out i have pink eye. wait. no. pink eyeS. yes. both of my eyes somehow got infected with pink eye, awesome. i'm apologizing in advanced for all of the children i infected today. unfortunately, i didn't take my glasses home with me, so i got to use my old ones (from what, like 9th grade?) until i got back up to logan. scariest. drive. ever. old glasses without an updated prescription, cloudy vision due to the monstrous conjunctivitis, and me, not having slept in over 30 hours.
now i'm here. sitting in my bed, i literally have not slept in around 39 hours. why am i posting this instead of sleeping then? well, i left my toothbrush at home..& my parents are amazing and i called them, luckily they're up here..guess who showed up at my apartment with a new toothbrush. yea, i love them.
i've learned these past few weeks, that my family really consists of the only people on this earth i can trust. the only ones with genuine interest and love for me - at least one that i can see. i love my family! so glad tomorrow is parents day, so everyone can see the parents i love. i know they'll love em too. as long as my mom doesn't pee her skirt, and my dad doesn't give me too many wet willies. i'll just leave it at that.
