today is more than good, it's GREAT!
April 25, 2012i'm feeling pretty grateful today :).
i cried like a child today in institute for a plethora of reasons.
this video clip hit home. isn't it crazy how the second we're faced with a situation depending on whether we choose wrong or right how DIFFERENT the outcomes are? this clip started the tears because it related very closely to a situation in my life that maybe i'll divulge on more later, but for today i'll leave it at that.
my teacher = seriously amazing. he's got a truly great perspective & taught me a lot. him talking about his family and getting emotional while doing so made me think about my family and get even more emotional (shout out to the fam bamarino, you're the best)
this video clip then pushed me to a new level. it reminded me that i grew up in the best family anyone could ask for, with parents who truly understood the concept of moments that matter most. but what really made me emotional was watching this & thinking about my future husband and family. i don't ever want to feel like i'm losing sight of the moments that matter most with them.
all of these combined made me cry. & i was kind of sad that this institute class was over. seriously..
but back to me being grateful: i've found many people who would be willing to buy my contract for the summer! i put the ad up yesterday & another one today and have had many people interested! which is great because i don't want to have to pay $495 to live at home. that would be "noooot great."
I'M EXCITED TO MOVE HOME :)! weird life.
i am going to miss a few people though. a special shout out to:
- all of those friends i've made up here that have tried a little harder to get to know me. i don't tend to be the easiest person to "get to know" (okay the quotes made that seem like i was hinting at something else but i really wasn't).
- my roommates/best friends. i'm gonna miss you guys a lot :(. i love you all more than any other females (not in a gay way.) but hey, i'll be closer now to y'all & we can have reunions without anyone missing more often now "if you know what i mean".
- a few of my good friends that i have made a special bond with because i've happened to be in the right place, at the right time...or said the right thing at the right time :). the conversations we have had have helped me more than you will ever know.
I LOVE YOU ALL. farewell logan (okay i've still got another week) until the next adventure!
